The leaves are thick leathery, oblong to oval, entire, dark green on the surface, bright, light green on the back, many lateral veins, not obvious, displayed in parallel; Banyan fruits are born in pairs in the leaf axils of fallen leaf branches, oval long oval, yellow green, basal bracts are hooded, and there is a ring trace at the base after falling off; Male flowers, gall flowers and female flowers are born on the inner wall of banyan fruit. Achene ovoid, with small tumor on the surface, long style, persistent, swollen stigma, nearly capitate. Flowering is winter.
